
Jonathan Heslep grew up in the mountains of southwest Montana. He has worked in Emergency Services since he was 18 years old, volunteering at three different local fire departments since 2008. He got his Associate of Applied Science degree at the Helena College University of Montana, majoring in Fire & Rescue, where he worked as an Adjunct Instructor for two years upon graduating. He is currently a Captain/EMT with the Montana City Volunteer Fire Department.
Jonathan worked as a wildland firefighter and EMT with the Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation for 15 years before leaving as an Assistant Fire Management Officer to start a new career teaching civilian Emergency Services.
