Frontline Response teaches a variety of American Heart Association classes, both in-person and blended (online and in-person). The two primary AHA classes offered are Heartsaver 1st Aid CPR AED and CPR BLS for licensed healthcare professionals.

Heartsaver Total (CPR, AED, and 1st Aid)

This 8-hour course is ideal for layperson CPR and 1st Aid. Required by some employers, it includes:

  • CPR for infants, children, and adults
  • AED use for infants, children, and adults
  • Choking in infants, children, and adults
  • Allergies, anaphylaxis, and epinephrine (EpiPen)
  • Bleeding control

In addition to the AHA curriculum, Frontline Response includes the American College of Surgeons Stop the Bleed certification with Heartsaver Total.

CPR BLS (Basic Life Support)

This 4-hour course is ideal for healthcare professionals such as EMTs and Nurses as well as those who want to provide a higher level of care for those in cardiac arrest. Topics include:

  • CPR for infants, children and adults
  • AED use for infants, children, and adults
  • Physiological differences/considerations for children, infants, and adults
  • Choking in infants, children, and adults
  • Use of Pocket Mask and Bag Valve Mask
  • Rescue breathing
