Intermediate Mass Casualty & Active Shooter Response is an 8-hour course developed by Frontline Response to build on the skills taught in Basic Mass Casualty & Active Shooter Response, which is a prerequisite to this class. This class builds on where the Basic class left off, giving more hands-on practice with patient movement, lifting/carrying victims, vehicle loads/extractions, and transitioning between dynamic and covert response to the incident.

There are two versions to this class, one exclusively using simulation weapons such as airsoft while the other builds into live-fire simulations at the end of the day. But this is not a firearms class; it is a medical class. For the live-fire version, therefore, there is a vetting process for all students prior to signing up for the live-fire class. Contact Jonathan regarding your eligibility. Classes which only involve simulation weapons are ideally taught at the hosting group’s own facility (teaching a church security team on their church grounds).

Topics include:

  • SMARCH
